YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM HAS SOME SENSITIVE TRAITSÂ
Your results suggest that your nervous system may have some characteristics of sensory sensitivity, but not as strongly as those who score at the highest end of the scale.
This means you may notice certain emotional or sensory experiences more than others, while still feeling comfortable in many environments.
You may sometimes notice things like:
- feeling drained after particularly demanding days
- needing occasional quiet time to reset
- being aware of subtle emotional dynamics around you
- feeling pressure when there is a lot to manage at once
But these experiences may not happen all the time.
Many people fall into this middle range.
Â
Sensitivity Exists on a Spectrum...
Â
Sensitivity is not something people either have or do not have.
It exists on a spectrum of nervous system responsiveness.
Psychologists refer to this trait as sensory processing sensitivity.
Research suggests that around 15–20 percent of people have a highly sensitive nervous system, while many others experience moderate levels of sensitivity.
It is important to know that sensitivity is not a disorder and not a diagnosis.
It is simply a natural variation in how the brain processes sensory and emotional information.
THE HIGHLY SENSITIVE HIGH ACHIEVER
Even if your score sits in the moderate range, you may still recognise parts of the experience described earlier.
Many people who identify as high achievers have nervous systems that are constantly processing information.
Responsibilities.
Expectations.
Deadlines.
Emotional dynamics.
Over time, that constant processing can still lead to experiences such as:
- overthinking
- mental fatigue
- emotional overwhelm
- difficulty switching off
- feeling like your mind rarely gets a break
This is especially common among thoughtful, driven people who carry a lot of responsibility.
Many Sensitive High Achievers Feel Stuck
Many people eventually reach a point where they feel like they have tried many different strategies, but still feel stuck.
They may have explored:
- productivity systems
- mindset work
- anxiety tools
- therapy
- self-development books
But something still does not fully click.
Often this happens because many tools focus only on thinking patterns, while overlooking how the nervous system itself responds to pressure and stimulation.
When your nervous system is under constant demand, it can become stuck in patterns of overdrive, stress, or emotional exhaustion.
Understanding those patterns is often the missing piece.

HEY, I'M DR MICHAELA DUNBAR!
I am an NHS-trained Clinical Psychologist and the founder of My Easy Therapy.
Over the years I worked with many thoughtful, capable people who believed they simply had anxiety.
But when we looked more closely, the picture was often more complex.
Sensitivity.
Stress patterns.
Personality traits.
Life stage changes.
Emotional history.
Once people understood their full nervous system profile, the right tools suddenly became much clearer.
That insight is exactly why I created the My Easy Therapy app.
SUPPORT IN THE MOMENTS YOU NEED IT MOST
The My Easy Therapy app is designed for highly sensitive high achievers who do not have hours to work on themselves every day.
The tools inside the app are designed to take around five minutes a day.
They are also designed for the moments when you need support immediately.
The moments when:
- your mind is spiralling
- you feel overwhelmed
- you are overthinking something
- you feel emotionally flooded
- you do not have time to google solutions or panic
Instead of trying to figure out what might help, the app provides instant support tools designed for your nervous system.
Â
PERSONALISED FOR YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM
Inside the My Easy Therapy app you will also be able to complete your Neurosensitivity Profile (NSP).
The NSP gives you a clear picture of how your nervous system is currently functioning, helping you understand patterns of:
- Sensitivity and stress
- Anxiety and mood
- Attention
- Stage of life and hormonal changes
This allows the app to personalise tools and guidance for your unique nervous system profile, rather than giving generic advice and random strategies.
