If support at work is part of what you need your assessment report can be used to apply for Access to Work, a UK government grant that does not need to be repaid.
Access To Work is for employees or self-employed individuals with a disability, health condition, or neurodivergence affecting them at work.
You do not need a formal ADHD diagnosis.
Decisions are based on how your difficulties affect your job, and your detailed clinical report and Neuro Sensitivity Profile provide strong evidence even if ADHD is not diagnosed.
Typical support includes specialist equipment or software, 1:1 mentors or coaching or support-worker/admin support time, help with travel to work, and practical adaptations for your workspace or home working.
Awards are needs-based up to the annual cap (currently £69,260) and are made case-by-case. It’s a grant, not a loan, and it won’t affect other benefits.
You can apply if you work in England, Scotland or Wales (Northern Ireland has a different system).
Self-employed applicants usually need a Unique Taxpayer Reference and a minimum turnover (currently £6,500).
